Each print is made by hand-inking and wiping an etching plate using Charbonnel Inks on BFK Rives 250 gsm acid-free 100% rag etching paper using a manual Praga etching press.

Monotypes are made by pressing paper against a colour-painted plate and prior to pulling the intaglio plate. Each monotype is a unique print and cannot be duplicated.

The print is sealed to a wood substrate with multiple layers of wax using encaustic techniques.
